a-Ionone (Alpha)
Alpha Ionone is one of the classic violet materials in perfumery. Although it imparts beautiful violet, iris tones into a fragrance, it is also indispensable for creating powdery effects and for building realistic berry and rose accords to name just a few. It’s odor is delicate violet, powdery, berry-like, with a gentle woody orris-like core.
