B-Ionone (Beta)
Beta Ionone is one of the classic iris (orris) materials in perfumery. Although it imparts beautiful woody iris tones into a fragrance, it is also indispensable for creating fruity effects and for building realistic berry and rose accords to name just a few. It’s odor is floral, green, fruity, berry-like, with a gentle woody orris-like core.
