Galbanum Resin Essential Oil
This beautifully wild harvested essential oil is distilled from the resin of the Ferula galbaniflua plant, which grows on rocky cliffside locations in India. Use of galbanum resin oil dates back thousands of years and was a key ingredient of Ketoret, component of the incense mentioned in the Hebrew Bible and Talmud.
It's odor is very tenacious and diffusive, contributing a natural/realistic green, stemmy feeling to herbal accords while providing excellent fixative effects and helping to blend top notes through the heart of a fragrance composition.
