Labdanum absolute is made from the solvent extraction of raw labdanum resin of the Cistus ladaniferus bush. It is a sticky, non-pourable semi-solid that exhibits a deep, rich balsamic note with a sweet ambergris-like undertone. Labdanum is a key material used to create the classic amber and chypre accords and exhibits extraordinary fixative properties.
This Labdanum absolute comes from Greece and is available Pure at 100% concentration and also at 50% diluted in SDA-40B for convenience and ease of use.
