It’s naturally high in Geraniol & Geranyl acetate, two of the main components that are responsible for the rosy aroma of rose and geranium. It is native to India and Pakistan and is well known for its soothing, calming properties and is a useful ingredient in skincare products for dry and sensitive skin types.

It is wonderful in geranium and rose compositions and can bolster rose notes at a fraction of the price of rose essential oil or absolutes. It’s aroma is fresh, citronella, grassy, citrus, rosy with gentle metallic, woody undertones.
