Patchouli essential oil is derived from the leaves of the Pogostemon cablin plant. This oil is wild harvested in Southern India. The farmers harvest sustainably by replanting after each harvest. The leaves are harvested by hand and no chemicals are used during growing. This lovely patchouli is a light distillation (Blanco) and the odor profile is woody, earthy, weedy, balsamic, spicy, minty and slightly camphoraceous. Suitable for perfumery & aromatherapy.
