Veramoss (Evernyl)
Veramoss (also known as Evernyl) is one of the key aromatic components found in natural Oakmoss. This version is synthetic and does not fall under the same usage restrictions as natural oakmoss. While not a complete replacement for Oakmoss Absolute, Veramoss can be used alongside natural Oakmoss to extend & augment the impact of natural Oakmoss in a composition. The aroma of Veramoss is dry, mossy and earthy, with woody and phenolic undertones. It is often found in Chypre and Fougère perfumes. Veramoss can last up to 400+ hours on a smelling strip, so it is a wonderful fixative for use in perfumery.
